Ashli Blow’s professional background in environmental journalism and science communication inspired her to expand into researching policy decisions. She holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Policy from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance and is currently pursuing a PhD in the Environmental Sciences, Studies, and Policy (ESSP) program at the University of Oregon, with the School of Journalism and Communication as her focal department. Her research interests include decision-making processes and risk communication in the context of climate science, policy, and justice, and the influence of journalism on public policy and natural resources management.
